Great work narrative, Bino! Reminds me of my job for a record distributing company where I was hired as exec. secretary to the vice president. Let us call him "Witless Rock Jock." Just after my interview, someone went into his office and lit his trashcan on fire. My job was to take over what had previously been his girlfriend's job. His girlfriend informed me that I would probably be hired because I was "Asian." After much excitement, resentment, and boredom, the company was shut down by the FBI after a dramatic day that involved cordoning off the building (so that the hundreds of employees were quarantined inside) for closed-door "interviews" (fortunately not of me).
